Very nice workstation	November 17, 2010

I bought this workstation to perform intensive Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations with it. I chose 2x X5650, 24Gb of RAM, HD5830 graphic card, and added a fan controller. The machine arrived pretty fast (7 days after the order was passed). The case is very good quality: it's very sturdy, tool-less design, and in 10s I was able to remove the side panels and check inside. All components were there, wires were properly tied and all the temperature sensors were at judicious locations. The computer came with the motherboard box with all the drivers, CPU boxes, extra internal cables,and manuals. I checked the BIOS and the RAID setup and everything was properly configured.
I installed right away CAE Linux (ie Ubuntu 10.04), and I was able to run OpenFOAM simulations in parallel a couple of hours later :)
I am very pleased with the workstation; I looked at several companies and I found that Titanus Computer was giving the most flexible option with a very competitive price.
